Day 113

Today we took another virtual flight back from Cape Verde returning to the African mainland. We walked through a few countries today:

  • The Gambia – home to over 90 Special Olympics athletes and Unified partners
  • Guinea-Bissau – home to over 40 Special Olympics athletes and Unified partners
  • Guinea – home to over 40 Special Olympics athletes and Unified partners

Our walk today took up 847.25 km and we arrived in Conakry, Guinea. Conakry is the capital city of Guinea, and has a population at around 2 million, which is about one sixth of Guinea’s total population!

Be sure to record your walking times today, and share any photos or stories about your walks using #WalkTheWorldSO on social media!
