Day 12

Today, after walking 1288.75 km together, we’ve reached the ghost town of Dundas Harbour, Nunavut – this abandoned settlement is located on Devon Island and was first established in 1924 by the government to discourage whaling and other illegal activity. The RCMP abandoned the settlement in 1951, and all that remains are the ruins of some of the buildings and one of the furthest north cemeteries in the world!

Be sure to record your walking times today, and share any photos or stories about your walks using #WalkTheWorldSO on social media!
