Today we headed to the south coast of Nigeria and took a virtual ferry ride over to Equatorial Guinea – home to over 50 Special Olympics athletes and Unified partners. We did a loop through the country before returning to another virtual ferry ride back to Nigeria. From there it was another walk north, where we wrapped up our 1,923.75 km day in Maiduguri, Nigeria. Maiduguri is the capital city of Borno State and was first founded as a military outpost in 1907!
