Day 147

Today we continued our walk through Tanzania, wrapping up after 436.75 km together and arriving in Shinyanga, Tanzania. Shinyanga is a city in northern Tanzania located near the Williamson Diamond Mine – first established in 1940 by Dr. John Williamson (a Canadian geologist), it was the first well-established mine outside of South Africa and one of the longest continuously operating diamond mines in the world.
