Day 178

Today we took a long walk through Italy, passed through San Marino (home to over 100 Special Olympics athletes and Unified partners), and arrived in Austria, home to over 4,100 Special Olympics athletes and Unified partners. Our walk took us 1,030.25 km together and we arrived in Klagenfurt, Austria. Klagenfurt is a city in southern Austria which translates to ford of lament, thought to be in reference to the legend of fairies and demons that lived in the nearby swamp.
