Day 209

Today we set off from Australia and took several virtual flights and boat rides to different islands throughout the Pacific Ocean:

  • New Zealand (home to over 5,300 Special Olympics athletes and Unified partners)

  • American Samoa (home to over 200 Special Olympics athletes and Unified partners)
  • Samoa (home to over 600 Special Olympics athletes and Unified partners)
  • Kiribati (home to over 20 Special Olympics athletes and Unified partners)
  • Fiji (home to over 900 Special Olympics athletes and Unified partners)
  • Vanuatu (home to over 20 Special Olympics athletes and Unified partners)
  • Solomon Islands
  • Nauru
  • Marshall Islands
  • Micronesia
  • Palau
  • The Philippines

Our walk took us 1,527.00 km together and we arrived in Manila, Philippines. Manila is the capital city of the Philippines and is the most densely populated city in the world, with 41,515 people per square kilometer.
