Today we set off from the Philippines and took a virtual flight to Macau, home to over 2,500 Special Olympics athletes and Unified partners. From there we travelled through Hong Kong (home to over 12,200 Special Olympics athletes and Unified partners), Taiwan (home to over 44,000 Special Olympics athletes and Unified partners), walked through China (home to over 1.4 million Special Olympics and Unified partners) and arrived in Mongolia (home to over 2,500 Special Olympics athletes and Unified partners). After walking 1,960.75 km together today, we arrived in Sainshand, Mongolia. Sainshand is located in eastern Mongolia in the Gobi Desert, and is along the Trans-Mongolian Railway.
