Day 96

Today we wrapped up our South American leg of the trip and started island hopping through the Caribbean! After leaving Venezuela, we visited our Special Olympics friends in each of these countries:

  • Aruba – home to over 190 Special Olympics athletes and Unified Partners
  • Curacao – home to over 330 Special Olympics athletes and Unified Partners
  • Trinidad and Tobago – home to over 900 Special Olympics athletes and Unified Partners
  • St. Vincent and the Grenadines – home to over 300 Special Olympics athletes and Unified Partners
  • Barbados – home to over 800 Special Olympics athletes and Unified Partners
  • St. Lucia – home to over 110 Special Olympics athletes and Unified Partners
  • Dominica – home to over 90 Special Olympics athletes and Unified Partners

We wrapped up our day in Roseau, Dominica, after having walked a whopping 1,400.75 km together! Roseau is the capital of Dominica, and is on the western coast of the island.
