Today we walked through Iceland, which is home to over 2,000 registered Special Olympics athletes and Unified partners. From there, we took a virtual flight to the Faroe Islands (home to over 100 Special Olympics athletes and Unified partners) and then took another virtual flight to Ireland. Ireland is home to almost 8,000 Special Olympics athletes – we walked across the island and arrived in Dublin, Ireland after walking 666.25 km together. Dublin is the capital city of Ireland and was first founded around the 7th century AD!
